A narrower footprint for tighter floors

The headline claim is spatial rather than visual. Vantara's chassis is shallower than the outgoing generation, which the vendor argues lets operators keep bank lengths while widening aisles — a recurring request from venues working under updated accessibility and egress expectations.

In practice, the gain depends on how a venue is wired. Retro-fitting shallower cabinets into existing plinths and cable trays is rarely a straight swap.

Serviceability over spectacle

Technicians rather than players are the second audience for this release. The redesigned front-service door and modular power tray are pitched at reducing the time a position stays dark during a fault.

Downtime economics are unglamorous but material: a premium position out of service during peak trading is a direct revenue loss and, in some jurisdictions, a reportable maintenance event.

Approval remains the gate

As with any new cabinet, availability is jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction. Hardware shown at exhibitions is frequently pre-certification, and operators should treat launch dates as commercial intent rather than deployment schedules.
